Job description

Dedicated to SHISEIDO TRAVEL RETAIL, the Finance Senior Executive will support the FP&A functions of Travel Retail Asia Pacific and consolidation and reporting processes of Shiseido Travel Retail. This role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including budget owners, Japan based HQ, and Finance teams across regions in Asia, Japan, Europe and America.

The Finance Senior Executive's main responsibilities are in supporting the budgeting cycles and variance analysis, with maintenance of the performance management system SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC). He/She will also assist in routine finance duties and other ad-hoc when required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Budgeting and Reporting Duties

The Finance Senior Executive is responsible for budgeting and reporting activities, including:

  • Business partner with budget owners and regional finance teams for timely and accurate data inputs
  • Consolidation of P&L and KPI into BPC and HQ reporting system
  • Preparation of management reports, supported with variance analysis
  • Support post budget cycle activities, such as fund management retraction
  • Support ad-hoc queries, data extraction request and analysis work
System Enhancement

The Finance Senior Executive will participate in various system enhancement initiatives:

  • Support data collation and validation of transformation projects/system enhancements
  • Pro-actively identifying opportunities to automate/improve existing processes
  • Provide troubleshooting/system support when required
REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Accountancy (or equivalent) with min 3 years of working experience in an Audit or Finance role
  • Good understanding of accounting concepts and key P&L performance indicators
  • Comfort with systems navigation, large data sets processing, and excellent skills in excel
  • Flexible in approach; can readily adapt to business and team needs and changes
  • Strong team player with good communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work efficiently and independently
  • Demonstrates integrity in all interactions
  • Organized and meticulous
