MAIN PURPOSE
The primary role of this position is to plan, strategize and implement the activities to develop beauty consultants, makeup artists and beauticians to their fullest potential to achieve sales objectives. To ensure the highest standards in the delivery of product information and service to the final consumers. He/she is expected to strategize and manage all training aspects to support the brand's mission to become the most coveted global luxury beauty brand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Job description

Training
  • Conduct training needs analysis to determine opportunities for productivity and profitability improvement in the areas of newly recruited beauty consultants, makeup artists and beauticians' orientation
  • Design and prepare training materials which will effectively improve the skills of the beauty consultants, makeup artists and counter chiefs in order to deliver the brand's expectations on the job
  • Internalise and impart understanding of brand philosophy and best in class service standards to trainers and sales team
  • Design and develop training objectives for each training and provide measurement and evaluation for training effectiveness
  • Ensure beauty consultants, counter chiefs, makeup artists and beauticians are properly trained to achieve objectives by translating marketing and sales activities into the training modules
  • Conduct OJT at the counter to monitor the progress/ performance of beauty consultants, counter chiefs and makeup artists
  • Plan training budget, ensuring expenses are kept within the budget allocation
  • Plan and conduct monthly training (New Products, Reinforcement, Skills etc.) for beauty consultants, counter chiefs, beauticians and makeup artists
  • Work with Sephora to train and inspire the Sephora cast members; in order to enable the cast member to effectively sell the brand
Recruitment

  • Establish the recruitment guidelines and standards of beauty consultants, makeup artists and beauticians' and ensure that the correct calibre is recruited for the brand.
  • Mentor, monitor and evaluate new beauty consultants, makeup artists and beauticians
Staff Relations

  • Responsible for inspiring and maintaining the beauty consultants, counter chiefs, makeup artists and beauticians' motivation and improvement in productivity
  • Conduct counselling and handle obstacles when necessary
Customer Relations

  • Manage all customer queries & feedback relating to products, service level and allergies
  • Update customer & product complaints into the Mirror System managed by Headquarters
Others

  • Conduct all beauty workshops, event talks, masterclass, livestreaming, etc
  • Participate in PR and Press events
REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Training within the prestige beauty industry.
  • Must have strong skincare/makeup expertise and product training and facial techniques training
  • Solid coaching and training experience in delivering specific training especially in luxury beauty/skincare training especially in roadshows, stage demonstration or workshops.
  • Strong people management skills, confident in presenting and influencing at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Well-groomed personnel
