Job description

Oversee and manage implementation of Kipling Brand eCommerce (Marketplaces & brand.com) strategy, leveraging existing and new technologies in the S.E.A markets with focus on direct to consumer and APAC distributor markets.

How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do:

  • Coordinate eCommerce activities with brand experience and merchandising teams internally and align with external partners to ensure digital assets and activations achieve high CTR, CVR and ROI
  • Guide markets to improve acquisition of traffic, CTR, CVR and retention rate
  • Align regional strategy with local market needs
  • Ongoing analysis and reporting of key business metrics including segmentation and key item sales, site traffic, conversion analysis, marketing programs such as search (SEO/SEM), content, and email marketing to maximize channel performance and sales
  • Update monthly online marketing calendars, making sure internal and external teams and functions are aligned
  • Responsible for constant tracking of online business performance through regional and local dashboards, reporting to upper management
  • Oversee rollout and update of websites, marketplace stores and initiate development of new channels

What success looks like:

  • Manage implementation of brand's regional digital strategy to meet sales and profitability target
  • Develop eCommerce calendars to deliver against budget on a regional and local level
  • Oversee and guide implementation of KCP activations by local markets to meet and exceed sales target and ensure executional excellence during KCP like Double 11, Double 12, 618
  • Manage all partnership relations and eCommerce vendors through TP or direct accounts
  • Manage implementation of online programs such as brand advertising campaigns, paid search, affiliate marketing, EDM, livestream etc. to drive traffic with high ROI and CVR

Skills for Success

Years of related professional experience: 5 years

Educational position requirements: A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

What we expect you already know:

  • Managing Marketplaces (Shopee, Lazada, Zalora)
  • Ecommerce backend systems integration (warehouse, ERP, inventory management, payment gateways etc.)
  • Google Analytics
  • Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Magento Commerce Cloud (desirable)
  • DotDigital, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and similar marketing automation tools (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (desirable)
