THE ROLE

About the role

We're looking for a Brand Manager to join the Travel Retail Asia Pacific team, to be based in Singapore. This role will be responsible not only for the commercial success of brands' under their care, but also the acceleration of Coty's ambitions within skincare and fragrance space, through impactful marketing strategy and impeccable execution. As the Marketing Support Function in the team, you will work closely with TR WW and Global Marketing teams to grow brand equity and visibility. Together with cross functional teams (such as merchandising, digital, education and demand planning), you will be responsible for marketing operational planning to support commercial team to drive sales and market share objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand & Trade Marketing

  • Develop short to long-term brand and launch plans in conjunction with Sales, Digital & IM team to support sales growth and market share for the portfolio of brands.
  • Adapting the global brand strategies to provide guidelines for the yearly trade plans to ensure efficiency of the marketing strategies and to better target key consumers in the region.
  • Suggest Travel Retail Exclusive offerings and promotions tailored to the region ensuring the needs of the business are catered for.
  • Plan and execute animations and podiums in conjunction with Sales and Visual Merchandising to drive visibility and ensuring maximum consumer engagements and sales conversion.
  • Define GWP strategy and ensuring brands have the right GWP assortment/mix to be competitive, design and develop non-product GWP as necessary, ensure brand guidelines and image is respected.
  • Define right pricing strategy for new innovations, partnering with Pricing team to ensure global benchmarks are respected and in line with TR regulations.
  • Proactively track competitors' animation and promotion best practices to strengthen brand plans.
  • Partner with digital team to drive maximum synergy across different digital consumer touch points to drive ecomm growth.
  • Partner IM team to develop cohesive social media strategy to build brand desirability, and support launches and brand development.
  • Track and improve marketing ROI for key launches and initiatives
Demand Planning & Forecasting

  • Partner with demand planning to deliver forecast accuracy by lines to ensure right inventory level for target achievement.
  • Estimate forecast potential for new marketing initiatives (including TREX) by reviewing internal and external benchmarks, and work with key stakeholders to realise commercial ambitions; rephase forecasts as required and track performance of innovations and key franchises/categories.
  • Carry out yearly portfolio SKU rationalisation and make plans as required for discontinuations and E&O reduction
  • Utilise existing tools for business analysis for sell-in and sell-out data performance.
Reporting & Others

  • Monthly and Quarterly reporting per brand on brand & launch performances and provide actionable conclusions. Also manage adhoc reporting requests as required.
  • Provide valuable insights to TRWW and Global Marketing teams on required support tools, product development opportunities and brand and competitor performance using them to enhance brand performance and results
  • Support and preparation for retailer's presentation meetings
REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-7 years of holistic brand management experience in Luxury Beauty, particularly in Skincare and Fragrance. Experience in the Travel Retail industry will be an advantage.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively and work under pressure.
  • Possess strong business acumen with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with strong collaborative skills; having the ability to develop effective working relationships both internally & externally and excel in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Proactive, agile and resilient character.
  • Results oriented with proven track record.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin (able to liaise with Mandarin speaking colleagues or associates).
  • Multi-brand management experience is preferred
  • High proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
