THE ROLE

About the role

COTY is seeking a talented, highly motivated, and experienced individual to join COTY's regional Travel Retail Asia Pacific team and will have a territory focus in key markets. The role will lead and advance Coty training team partnering commercial in training program delivery in the region. The scope of work will have a category and territory focus to ensure executing best-in-class education programs including selling/service techniques to drive BA productivity and business goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as main liaison with global training teams for key responsible markets and portfolio. The scope and portfolios will be determined based on candidate's calibre and expertise to best fit business needs.
  • Support TR APAC Training Manager in all training related matters.
  • Review, adapt and implement training program materials to devise suitable training content and plans to support the region's marketing and commercial goals & needs.
  • Build a strong and collaborative partnership with in-market Retail Specialists in BA selection, development plans and maximising BA productivity.
  • Collaborate with Sales and share input on BA Rewards, Incentive & Motivation Plans for BAs retention and progression.
  • Be the Lead and be Responsible for the organization in the areas of TTT sessions to Retail Specialists, BA Seminars and specific training projects that is necessary for skills upgrade of our BAs.
  • Support and coordinate with Global Training Team for Mystery Shopper Program and evaluate results with action plans to address improvement areas.
  • Take charge of the region's translation needs and ensures timely dissemination of training materials to the field.
  • Evaluate, report and follow-up on post training program with field sales coaching with Retail Specialists to track with KPIs and measurable results.
  • Responsible for the proposal and management of training budget in the region, to ensure sufficiency and proper accounting.
  • Lead development and implementation of new retail training needs such as engaging digital platforms for innovation BA engagements, support marketing and sales events and activities to drive retail performances (eg. Retailers/ Brand led social platform activities, BA livestreaming training).
  • Support the region for new-comers On-Boarding Training and ad-hoc office engagement programs (if schedule permits).
  • Responsible for BA uniforms and Grooming Guidelines; and supported by the Retail Specialists for logistics and implementation in each market.
  • Be the liaison and provide suggestions for counter merchandising tools esp. for makeup and skincare categories.
  • Work in collaboration with the APAC Travel Retail Marketing, and Sales teams to support the development and delivery of effective training programs and materials.
REQUIREMENTS

  • Min 3 years' experience in training capacity in the Beauty industry across 3-axis category with proven track record.
  • Strong English & Mandarin Proficiency as this role requires to liaise with regions in Greater China.
  • Experience in program development/instructional design and effective use of digital tools to deliver training session
  • Possess strong drive with flexibility and ability to function in a fast-paced environment
