Job description

MAIN PURPOSE

The Regional FP&A Manager partners closely with Brand Directors & Brand team at regional and markets. You will be managing sales and financial reporting, planning and commercial analysis to support decisions and achievement of Brand targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES AND BUSINESS PERFORMANCE

  • Develop a robust tracking process for sales trajectory and stay on-top of key sales drivers including product, channel, store and customer performance
  • Drive periodic and timely commercial review, analysis and deep dive to understand Brand and Division Profit & Loss performance
  • Use both financial and non-financial data (eg market research) to support decisions and analysis
  • Identify and flag opportunities and risks within the business to solicit actions with Brand teams
  • Preparation of Brand financial presentations, reports and dashboard
  • Provide analysis and review effectiveness of marketing investment spend
BUDGETING/FORECASTING

  • Support region budget/forecast preparation
  • Work with regional and market Brand team to build a bottoms-up business plans in-line with regional growth strategy
  • Collaborate with regional Brand team to review consolidated budget and propose necessary adjustments
  • Assist in preparation of budget storyboard, analysis and presentations
BUSINESS PROCESS AND PROJECTS

  • Participate in regional S&OP brand meeting to ensure demand/supply plans submitted are in-line with sales plan and initiatives
  • Support resolution of operational and process issues that hamper achievement of targets
  • Participate in development of BI and Analytic dashboard
  • Initiate process improvements that can alleviate reporting and analysis in the region
REQUIREMENTS

  • Master/Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, preferably with specialisation in Analytics
  • Minimum 10 years combined Accounting and FP&A business partnering experience in FMCG/Retail business
  • Passionate working with data, strong analysis skills to create a story behind the numbers
  • Able to connect the dots between numbers and business operations
  • Self-starter, resourceful and able to work under pressure
  • Excellent communicator and a team player
  • Highly proficient in Advanced Excel, Powerpoint, PowerBI and programming skills
