FashionJobs.com is neither an agency nor a recruitment company. Its job is to connect the companies with the candidates via 2 ways: by posting jobs and by accesing the resume library.
Who can use FashionJobs.com?
The website is reserved for the professionals in the fashion, beauty and luxury industries.
JOB OFFERS
I want to apply for a job by e-mail but the company’s address isn’t posted, how can I send my resume?
If the company doesn't put the address in its offer, it's because it prefers to receive job applications by e-mail. Afterall it's easier to manage applications by e-mail (to classify) than by post mail.
When I fill out and send the job application, who receives it?
It's sent directly to the company. You will receive an e-mail confirming that your application has been sent.
Why isn't there the e-mail address on the offer?
The e-mail address is hidden in order to protect the company against virus, SPAM...
It allows FashionJobs.com and the company to count all the applications.
Have I to call the company to know if I am selected for an interview?
If there isn't the phone number with the offer that means the company doesn't urge the candidates to phone. In general the company should call the candidates to inform them.(by phone, by mail or by e-mail)
My resume is larger than 500ko and I can't be sent, what can I do to send it?
If you've received this message, it may be due to your photo in your resume. To solve this problem, you can format it to change its resolution (for instance 72 dpi). If you can't do that, you should take off your picture.
My resume’s format is JPG picture/ I have a book with several pictures, how can I send them?
You should create a WORD or PDF file. Attention the final file can’t be larger than 500ko.
Is it necessary to apply for a job by written correspondance?
If you’d like, yes but it's not necessary...
We recommend you do so if the company requires a cover letter written by hand.
I don't understand why a job offer which was online last month is still online this month
If a job vacancy is online for 2 or 3 months, it means that the job is still available.

Do the same companies which post job offers on the fashionjob consult the Resume database?
In general, companies that consult the resume database, don't post job offers on the website. Those that do are big companies or headhunters.
How long is my resume kept on the resume database ?
12 months. Attention, after 6 months your resume will be outdated. You have to regularly update it.
I've already put my resume on other websites and I've had no positive answers. Why should I put my resume on FashionJobs.com?
-Firstly, FashionJobs.com is specialised in Fashion and companies know that.
-Secondly, we respect confidentiality. When you upload your resume, you have the possibility of blocking companies by which you don’t want to be consulted.
